Day 01: Arrive Delhi
Arrive late
evening at New Delhi International airport. Upon arrival at International
Airport, you will be met by our representative, after a traditional
'Swagat' (Indian welcome consisting of Aarti-Tikka and garlands) our
representative would assist you at airport & transfer to hotel for two
nights.Whilst the room keys and check-in is organized, our representative
would introduce the tour to you and hand over the documents to you.
Welcome to India, or as we say atithi devo bhava (the guest is
an incarnation of God). Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve
you!
Day 02: Delhi
Enjoy full day
sightseeing of New & Old Delhi.(Including the Qutub Minar, Humayun's
tomb and Lutyen's buildings, Jama Masjid, Red Fort and the bazaars of
Chandni Chowk) Old Delhi pulses with the energy and colour, the hustle and
bustle of thronged bazaars and is laced by a maze of narrow lanes which
twist and turn between tall, leaning houses full of the sights, sounds and
aromas of the Indian sub-continent. In Old Delhi you will see the famous
Red Fort surrounded by shops, and bazaars (built by the Emperor Shah Jehan
the builder of Taj Mahal), the Jama Masjid mosque with its tapering
minarets and wonderful marble domes, Chandni Chowk (Old Delhi's business
nerve center), the hustle-bustle of everyday Indian life all around you
and chattering voices.
Note: The Red Fort is closed on Mondays
New Delhi stands in formal splendour, like a lone sentry guarding an
outpost of a long-gone empire. It is a city of wide boulevards, which
offers ever-changing perspectives of Lutyen's landscaped city. It is a
city rich with formal parks and you will see the magnificent Parliament
Building and the Rashtrapati Bhawan (the official residence of the
President of India in the 330 acres of land and designed by Sir Edwin
Lutyens), once the awe-inspiring residence of the British Viceroys and now
the Presidential Palace, India Gate (a majestic 42-mts high arch, built as
a memorial to the Indian Soldiers killed in World War I), Qutub Minar (the
72.5 mts high tower dating back to 13th century and one of the greatest
bequests of Islamic Culture), Humanyun's Tomb (built in the 16th century
and architecturally the fore runner of the Taj Mahal, has Mughal
Architecture at its graceful best).After finishing the sightseeing tour we
drive back to our hotel for Overnight stay
Day
03: Delhi / Khajuraho (9w-724 Dep: 1040 / Arr: 1300)
Morning
after breakfast checkout and transfer to the airport to board the flight
to Khajuraho at 1040 hrs departure, arrival at 1300 hrs. On arrival check
in to the hotel. Later visit Western group of Temples consisting of the
massive Laxman Temple dedicated to lord Vishnu, the Laxmi and Varaha
temples dedicated to Vishnus consort Laxman, the Kandariya Mahadev
temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and the Chausath Yogini temple dedicated to
goddess Kali. Also visit Archaeological museum with its collection of
stone sculptures of the Chandela dynasty. Return to the hotel for
overnight.
Day 04: Khajuraho Panna
Early
morning visit the visit Eastern group of Temples and visit the Jain
temples of Parsvanath, Adinath, and Shanti Nath. Also visit the temples of
Vamana and Brahma/Hanuman both dedicated to lord Vishnu. Later drive to
Panna Tiger Reserve which is 60 KM (01 Hour from Khajuraho) to watch
different variety of animals such as tiger, panther , leopard, deer,
antelopes & so many variety of local & migrated Birds. Check in at
Hotel for overnight stay.
Day 05 & 06: Panna

Late Afternoon game viewing by Jeep/ Elephant in the Tiger Reserve .

Day 07: Panna
Orcha (174 Kms)
Morning game viewing by Jeep/ Elephant in the
Tiger Reserve and return to Hotel on time for Breakfast.Post breakfast
drive to Orcha, Once the capital city of Bundela, Orchha is now just a
village, set amongst a complex of well-preserved palaces and temples. Its
definitely worth a visit. Orchha was founded in 1531 and its golden
age was during the first half of the 17th century. A special palace,
Jehangir Mahal was built when Jehangir visited the city in 1606. It is of
impressive size and there are good views of the countryside from the upper
levels.Overnight stay at the hotel
Day 08: Orcha Gwalior (130 Kms / 3 hours)
Post breakfast Visit Raj Mahal nearby has superb murals. Dinman Hardauls
palace is also interesting palace. Orchhas worth visiting temples
date back to the 17th century.
They are still in use today and are
visited regularly by thousands of devotees. Ram Raja Temples with its
soaring spires. The Lakshmi narayan temple is worth the walk for its
well-preserved murals. The walled Phool Bagh gardens, a cool summer
retreat, are also worth visiting Other places to see include the
dilapidated Sundar Mahal and Chhatris (memorials) of Orchhas rulers,
down by the betwa river. Later drive to Gwalior. Situated at the very
geographical and historical crossroads of India, Gwaliors immense
fortress shines out as the noblest of all Hindu castles. Overnight stay at

Day 09: Gwalior Agra (174 Kms)
A
half day of sightseeing in Gwalior reveals the Gwalior Fort, Museum, Rani
Laxmibai Memorial and Tansens Tomb followed by the drive to Agra,
City of the Taj Mahal. On arrival, check in to your pre-arranged hotel for
one night stay and enjoy the afternoon in the hotel or exploring on your
own.
Day 10: Agra Bharatpur (60 Kms)
After breakfast we checkout from hotel and visit to witness incomparable
Taj Mahal with its speculative view at the time of Sunrise. Taj
Mahal, the architectural modern day wonder of the world; this monument is
a fine example of the fusion of many architectural styles is one of the
wonders of the modern world. Taj, endowed it with some of the loveliest
buildings in the world. The tour continues with a visit to the Agra Fort
from where one can get the most moving view of the Taj from the little
octagonal tower in the Agra Fort, which lies, across the river Jamuna.
Thereafter drive to Bharatpur, en route visit Fatehpur Sikri
Fatehpur Sikri the deserted, red sandstone city that was built by Emperor
Akbar as his capital and palace in the 16th century. Also visit the Bulund
Darwaza the largest gateway in the world.
Continue drive
to Bharatpur - renowned the world over for the Keoladeo Ghana National
Park or-as many people prefer to call it-the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary.
Bharatpur hosts a variety of bird species from across the globe. Close to 380 species of birds are found in this 29 sq km stretch, approximately 10 sq km of which comprises of marshes and bogs. Rest of the area comprises of scrublands, grasslands and more than 44,000 trees that are nts and, at the same time, substantiates the density and diversity of the region's forest cover.Arrive Bharatpur & check-in at prebooked Hotel.
Day 11: Bharatpur Ranthambore (250 Kms /
05-06 hours)
After breakfast, rickshaw ride at Keoladeo Ghana
Bird Sanctuary. Later, leave for Ranthambore National Park. Ranthambore
National Park. Located at the junction of the Aravalli and Vindhya hill
range, this is one of the finest places to view animals, especially as
they are used to being stared at here.The park covers an area of
Approximately 400 sq Km and if combined it with the area of sawai man
singh sanctuary area, it is around 500 Sq. km. Ranthambore national park
was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1957 and in 1974 it gained the
protection of "Project Tiger". It got it's status of a National
Park in 1981. Ranthambore National Park is dotted with structures that
remind you of bygone eras. Tigers at Ranthambore National park have been
known to even hunt in full view of human visitors. These tigers are famous
for being seen in the daytime too, due to their lack of fear of human
presence in vehicles. This lack of fear of humans is excellent for
tourists, as they get to see the tigers often. Arrive Ranthambore and
check-in at prebooked hotel.The park remains open every year from October
to June and is closed from July till September.
Day 12 & 13: Ranthambore
Morning and
afternoon, jungle safaris inside the park in a jeep/canter.
Day 14: Ranthambore Delhi (Golden Temple mail
Dep: 1240 / Arr: 1905)
Early morning transfer to
Swaimadhopur Railway station to catch the train back to Delhi Upon arrival
in Delhi you will met by your representative and transfer to your hotel
for overnight stay.
Day 15: Depart Delhi
Tour concludes.
